Refund & Exchange Policy

Return & Exchange Policy

At Misunderstood, every piece we create carries a story — made with care, originality, and intention. We want you to love what you ordered, but if something isn’t quite right, we’re here to make it right.

1. Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns or exchanges under the following conditions:

  • The item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.
     
  • You contact us within 7 days of delivery.
     
  • The product is unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging with all tags intact.
     

Please note:

  • We do not accept returns for items purchased on sale, discount, or during special promotions unless they are damaged or defective.
     
  • Size exchanges are subject to availability.
     

2. How to Request a Return or Exchange

Follow these simple steps:

  1. Email us at support@misunderstood.in within 7 days of receiving your order.
     
  2. Mention your Order ID, reason for return/exchange, and attach clear photos of the product (if damaged or incorrect).
     
  3. Once approved, our support team will guide you through the process.
     

For damaged or incorrect items, we’ll arrange a free pickup (for eligible locations).
For other valid reasons, you may be asked to ship the product back to our warehouse.

3. Return Address

(We’ll share the exact return address once your return request is approved.)
Please ensure the item is securely packed to avoid damage during transit.

4. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we’ll notify you via email.
If approved, your refund will be processed within 7–10 business days via your original payment method.

Note:

  • Shipping or COD charges (if any) are non-refundable.
     
  • In case of partial order returns, the refund will be processed only for returned items.
     

5. Exchange Process

If you’ve requested an exchange:

  • We’ll send out the replacement product once the original item has been received and inspected.
     
  • Exchanges are subject to stock availability. If the replacement item is unavailable, a refund or store credit will be issued instead.
     

6. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Accessories (caps, masks, socks, etc.)
     
  • Gift cards or digital products
     
  • Customized or limited-edition items
     

7. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet:

  • First, check your bank account or payment provider.
     
  • Then contact your bank; it may take additional time before your refund is posted.
    If you’ve done all this and still haven’t received your refund, please email us at support@misunderstood.in and we’ll help resolve it.
